Eight Seattle Attorneys Honored in the Annual List of 2012 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

Gordon & Rees is proud to announce that eight attorneys from our Seattle office have been selected to receive the Super Lawyers® or Rising Stars® distinction in the 2012 edition of Washington Super Lawyers.
The selection of attorneys for inclusion in the 2012 Washington Super Lawyers is a result of independent research to determine no more than the top five percent of legal professionals in Washington state. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement including verdicts and settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, position within the law firm, bar and other professional activity, pro bono and community service as a lawyer, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background, and other outstanding achievements.
To determine the candidates for Rising Stars, practicing lawyers are asked to nominate "the best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less." The publication's attorney-led research team independently reviews the credentials of potential candidates and assigns points based on a set of defined evaluation criteria. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in a geographic region are named to the Rising Stars list.
