Robert Schumacher is Co-Managing Partner of the Las Vegas office, and a member of the Construction and Commercial Litigation practice groups. Mr. Schumacher brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of complex litigation defense, construction, insurance coverage, general liability,  commercial litigation, toxic tort including toxic exposure matters, commercial and retail unlawful detainer, and breach of lease litigation.

In the context of construction cases, Mr. Schumacher has extensive experience dealing with OCIP and CCIP ("wrap policy") issues, and represents contractors and design professionals in prosecuting monies owed, delay/impact, inefficiency claims, and defending claims for alleged errors and omissions and defective work.

Regarding commercial litigation, Mr. Schumacher represents all types of businesses in commercial disputes including contract claims and business torts, privacy lawsuits, defamation, false light and trade libel cases.

In regard to insurance coverage and e&o matters, Mr. Schumacher has handled a variety of complex engagements involving construction, environmental, general liability, professional liability, and long tail claims, and has also defended hundreds of bad faith/negligence/breach of contract matters against TPA's arising from the Northridge Earthquake. He has also defended insurance carriers in Nevada for alleged violations of the Nevada Unfair Claims Practices Act and has conducted numerous seminars to out-of-state carriers on how to adjust claims in compliance with same.
