Carol C. Copsey has specialized in labor and employment law, representing management for nearly twenty years. Ms. Copsey has litigated matters in federal and state courts in both jury and bench trials, and agency proceedings. She also has extensive experience in proceedings in alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediations and arbitrations.
Ms. Copsey conducts group and individual training of management and employees in a variety of topics, such as sexual harassment, equal employment opportunity, diversity and preventing wrongful termination lawsuits. Ms. Copsey has conducted workplace investigations at all levels of an organization, examining a variety of different types of claims such as sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, ethical breaches and drug and alcohol abuse. Ms. Copsey has also counseled in employment compliance and planning, emphasizing practical solutions to different human resources issues.
