Ari C. Shapiro is a partner in Gordon & Rees’s Miami office and a member of the firm’s Insurance, Tort & Product Liability and Commercial Litigation practice groups.

Mr. Shapiro’s clients include automobile, engine, machinery, and other product manufacturers.  Mr. Shapiro also represents insurance companies and financial institutions.  He has broad experience, as well as trial experience, handling complex tort and products liability litigation in state and federal courts, including asbestos litigation. Mr. Shapiro also has extensive experience  in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, motor vehicle crashworthiness, commercial litigation, and insurance bad faith.  Mr. Shapiro currently is Florida counsel for Volkswagen of America and Tecumseh Products Company for all asbestos matters.

Mr. Shapiro is a member of the Board of Directors for Community Smiles, a non-profit organization dedicated to oral health education and improving access to dental care for the underserved families and children throughout Miami-Dade County.
