Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Jeffrey Schagren as Of Counsel in the firm’s Dallas office. His addition will strengthen the firm’s existing Business Transactions and Retail & Hospitality practice groups.
Schagren has a depth of experience working in Fortune 500 and industry-leading public and private companies, government, and Am Law 200 international law firms.
He focuses his practice in complex contract negotiations, major business transaction agreements, negotiation and drafting, litigation and crisis management, corporate governance, real estate development and franchising, regulatory compliance, employee and labor relations, collective bargaining, and strategic planning.

"He has served as General Counsel for an auto financing company and is a hospitality industry veteran that will bolster the firm’s national hospitality practice."
Schagren has served as General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel for a number of large companies including a multinational hospitality company, a national hotel chain and a Fortune 500 retail company. He also served as the head of the North America Hospitality group for an Am Law 100 full-service global law firm, and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions in the hospitality industry.
He is admitted to practice in Texas, New York, Connecticut and Maryland.
He earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and undergraduate degree from New York University.
