IADC Announces J. Dominic Campodonico as New Board Member for 2021-22

The International Association of Defense Counsel ("IADC") has elected J. Dominic Campodonico, partner at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani in San Francisco, California, as a new member of the IADC Board of Directors for 2021-22. The election was announced at the IADC’s 2021 Annual Meeting. The IADC is the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.

A member of the IADC since 2011, Campodonico has served as chair of the organization’s Engagement and Retention Committee and is an active member of its Membership, Continuing Legal Education, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committees. In addition, he is a board member of the Foundation of the IADC.

In his practice, he has more than 23 years of experience serving as national litigation coordinating counsel, regional counsel, and local counsel in mass tort, product liability litigation. He also represents clients in commercial litigation matters. His clients are from a variety of industries including those in the chain of distribution of pharmaceuticals/medical devices, laboratory and genetic sequencing equipment, personal care/consumer products, automotive, fire protection and construction-related machinery. In addition to his litigation and trial practice, Campodonico has extensive experience in risk assessments and alternative dispute resolution and has participated as national settlement counsel for mass tort cases.

Campodonico has been actively involved in community and firm-wide diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and currently serves as co-chair of the firm’s national LGBTQ Affinity Group. He received his J.D. (cum laude) from Santa Clara University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona.
