Gordon & Rees LLP #1 Law Firm in "Best Places to Work" Survey

More than 105,000 Bay Area workers at over 400 companies were surveyed to determine which companies were the "Best Places to Work." Gordon & Rees was voted by its employees as one of the top five Best Places to Work in the largest company category (351+ employees). G&R achieved a score of 89.75 out of 100, surpassing other large firms like Bingham McCutchen LLP and Heller Ehrman LLP. Other notable companies in the top 30 of this category were Clorox, Wells Fargo, SRI International, Roche, and Dolby Laboratories.

The April 6, 2005 awards evening was standing room only when over 500 CEOs, Human Resource Directors, and Managers attentively waited to hear where their firms ranked in the survey. The survey is a joint project of the San Francisco Business Times, Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, East Bay Business Times and Deloitte. The mission was to seek out and rank the companies in our region whose employees rate them the highest on policies, procedures, culture and practices that combine to make the best workplaces.

Employees were asked to evaluate their workplace happiness by answering 40 key questions that gauged employees' satisfaction with work climate and culture, management practices and specific policies and benefits offerings.
