Leslie Crary is senior counsel in the San Francisco office of Gordon & Rees’s Insurance practice group. Ms. Crary’s practice focuses on litigation and advice on a variety of complex insurance coverage matters. Her experience includes insurance coverage and bad faith disputes in the areas of environmental liability, intellectual property, technology, employment, directors and officers, and other commercial matters and disputes. In addition, Ms. Crary handles life, health, and disability insurance disputes.

Ms. Crary is also an accomplished appellate practitioner. She has briefed and argued cases at both the intermediate and at the highest state court level as well as handled appeals before the Ninth Circuit. In addition to her work in insurance coverage litigation and advice, Ms. Crary also has experience handling general commercial litigation matters including real estate and employment disputes.

Community Involvement

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Crary is also an active community volunteer. She has served as a trustee, including a term as President, on the board of her children’s school and has led fundraising, strategic planning, and executive search initiatives in that role. She has also raised funds for the San Francisco Aids Foundation by running two marathons.
