Jeffrey Lilly is a partner in Gordon & Rees’s Austin office and is a member of the firm’s Drug & Medical Device and Tort & Product Liability practice groups. He also serves as Co-Chair of the E-Discovery Practice. As a litigator, with a general focus on broad based product liability law and an emphasis on pharmaceutical and medical device mass torts, Jeff represents clients in state and federal court, including national MDLs. Jeff primarily handles and manages nationwide litigation issues. At the present time, Jeff is a relationship manager to a major pharmaceutical client. He also handles general liability and commercial matters.

One of Jeff's interests is in designing alternative fee arrangements (AFAs) and other mechanisms that assist clients in efficiently meeting today's challenges, with the same high quality legal work maintained.

Previously, Jeff was responsible for a voluminous case load at the Texas State Attorney General’s office. This included handling all aspects of the cases, including going to trial as first or second chair. Jeff’s caseload was almost exclusively made up of medical malpractice cases, although he also handled automobile and premises liability matters.

Jeff is also a certified mediator and has mediated pro bono cases for the Dispute Resolution Center of Harris County.
