
Eduardo A. Bolt is a partner in the Orange County office of Gordon & Rees and is the Orange County Office Chair of the firm's Diversity Committee. Working with both the Business Transactions and International practice groups, he specializes in Domestic Corporate and Transactional Law, as well as Latin American Law. Mr. Bolt’s domestic corporate and transactional practice includes the representation of businesses and individuals in corporate and transactional matters, including formation, mergers and acquisitions, reorganization, sales and acquisition of stock or assets, and real estate finance matters.
Mr. Bolt has extensive experience in advising and assisting companies on implementation of internal strategic policies for compliance with import and export controls regulations of the Bureau of Industry and Security of the U. S. Department of Commerce and in applying for and securing Commerce Department Export Licenses for export of products abroad and in determining the correct export control classification numbers. Mr. Bolt has further advised clients on U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule and the International Harmonized Commodity Coding and Classification System.
Mr. Bolt also leads the Immigration Practice Group which focuses primarily on business-related immigration. His practice involves filing employment-based petitions on behalf of corporate clients looking to employ foreign-born professionals, and advising these clients on how to properly comply with all applicable immigration laws and regulations. Mr. Bolt also has an extensive background in automotive law.
